About
Rosie's research ustilises a Foucaultian theoretical approach to explore pre-service Primary generalist teachers' subjectivities in relation to health and the body. The research emerged out of the need to consider the ways we assemble pedagogical experiences of health and the body for young people, particularly in light of the unintended effects these may have for children's sense of self and health. A narrative method is deployed to understand selves as part of contemporary healthscapes.
