About
Peter's interests include the application of Formal Concept Analysis to knowledge and information organization problems, most recently in digital libraries used in cultural heritage and the GLAM sector.
Thanks to the establishment of the SMART Infrastructure Facility at the University of Wollongong, Peter has been working more on intelligent transport systems, in particular studying the idea of connected mobility and its relationship to evolving digital ecosystems.
Peter is currently CI on ARC Linkage and contract research projects, one involving the Virtual Museum of the Pacific and the other the Connected Mobility Digital Ecosystem supported by the CSIRO's National ICT Centre and Andrew.
Peter established the Centre for Digital Ecosystems in 2009 at the University of Wollongong and is also affiliated via project work and PhD supervision with the SMART Infrastructure Facility.
In 2010, Peter was awarded the Inaugural Smart Infrastructure Research Award from the Federal Department of Infrastructure, Transport and Local Government for a study of privacy sensitivity in the context of connected mobility for private and public transport.
